As "Kavala Mane," we extend our greetings to the entire community.

Given that Maharashtra and Karnataka share a state border. At Kavala Mane, we offer not only the authentic flavors of Karnataka but also culinary delights from cities like Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli and others that are part of the Maharashtra State.

Unique feature of "Kavala Mane" mirrors the dominance and leadership of women in household kitchens; similarly, our restaurant is primarily led and managed by women. We consistently strive to infuse every bite with a nurturing, motherly essence to our customers.

Good food comes with a great story! This place has soul and a family that's determined to bring original homemade Karnataka cuisine to the common person. We enjoyed the Thali and Thalipeeth which was flavourful and distinct to cultural roots. We also tried their Aloo (Potao) Bonda and Masala Dosa which is unlike the other southern varieties. It has kept its unique Kannadiga identity. Their menu is extensive across breakfast, lunch and dinner offering pure vegetarian meals with options with no garlic and onion as well. The service is good with the owner coming up to say hello personallyif he is around. Seating is outside but they have fans and coolers. They also do catering.

I recently discovered a hidden gem nestled in the lanes of Karama. This simple and small restaurant which serves typical Karnataka & Maharashtrian cuisine exceeded my expectations with its incredible food and delightful flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Amazing food. Incredible service. Highly recommend this place for those looking for authentic Karnataka cuisine. I had a fantastic experience there. The service was top-notch, and the food surpassed my expectations. Although the outdoor ambiance wasn't ideal, the outstanding quality of the dishes left me truly impressed. Must visit for all kannadigas.
